Vinegar Based Cleaners (Part One)

With natural, non-toxic cleaners taking a bigger and bigger part in the cleaning aisle in most stores its easy to forget cleaning vinegar. Vinegar has always been a super versatile cleaner that can be used in ways to handle most (not all) cleaning tasks.
Basics of cleaning vinegar:
It’s natural!
It’s versatile! It has many uses inside and outside the house.
It’s affordable! This is always a good thing for the frugal shopper and when you figure in the amount of things it can help with the savings get even better.
There are all kinds of recipes online for cleaning vinegar recipes but this one is my favorite. It’s a basic all purpose cleaner and the more tasks I can handle with just one item the better.
Vinegar based all purpose cleaner recipe:
Ease of use is always in direct correlation to how many people will try something new. Well this recipe doesn’t get much easier so give it a try!
Get an empty spray bottle and fill with one part cleaning vinegar, one part water, shake well and your ready to use! You’ll notice the scent isn’t great but this vinegar smell can be reduced by adding a few drops of any essential oil. Many essential oils have antiviral and antibacterial properties, others may have a scent you prefer.
