Benefits of a clean office space!

We all want a clean and orderly workspace, but have you ever thought about why? Sometimes we think it’s because that’s the expectation society gives or possibly you see it as just the opposite of being a slob but there are more intrinsic reasons you may want to keep a clean office. Let’s dive into those now!

Endorphins, specifically stress relieving endorphins, are enhanced by having a tidier workspace, which can be especially helpful when you consider just how many hours a week you spend at work.
People tend to prefer similar routines since they provide us with stability or familiarity. Obviously, this would assist you in being able to work more effectively.
Several studies have shown that clutter and a “mess” was tied to procrastination, a sense of being overwhelmed and even a feeling of a lower quality of life.
We all know our emotions control a lot of our lives. But some evidence has shown that the act of cleaning can offer a calming effect and helps us manage our emotions. So, it’s possible that cleaning can be an effective outlet for frustration.
According to a study at Princeton having too many items in our field of vision our brain's processing capacity is diminished. Clearing clutter and trash out of our workspace may actually allow the brain to work more efficiently.
Obviously, there’s more other benefits to a clean office space, namely how customers perceive your business, overall employee happiness, and taking pride in a space you spend so many hours every week, but these are just a few of the benefits of keeping your workplace clean!
